Parts are saved
Parts that still work are taken off and prepared so they can be used again or sold. That is our auto salvage work.
The metal is recycled
The car is dismantled and the metal goes to auto steel recyclers, so it can be used in other products instead of sitting in a landfill.
You are done with it
After the pickup you file a Report of Sale with Washington DOL and take your plates. Then the car is no longer your problem.

Scrap car
A car whose value is mostly the metal in it. It is usually old, worn out or badly damaged.
Junk vehicle (Washington law)
Under RCW 46.55.010, a junk vehicle meets at least three of four tests: 3 years old or older, extensively damaged, apparently inoperable, and worth only about its scrap value.
Salvage
A damaged car that still has parts worth saving. We buy these too, and the good parts are prepared for reuse.

PAPERWORK TO HAVE READY
Washington State law requires paperwork before a vehicle can be disposed of. Here is what we need for a pickup in the Seattle area.
- One of these documents: the Title, an Affidavit in Lieu of Title, or a Junk Vehicle Affidavit.
- Lost the title? If the vehicle is registered in your name in Washington, call us at (206) 941-0612 and we will help you sort it out.
- After the sale: the Washington Department of Licensing asks sellers to file a Report of Sale within 5 days and to take their license plates off the vehicle.

Well what can I say. I have an old truck my uncle gave it to me. 35 years ago I used it a few times parked it. My neighbors hated it being a DYII guy. I rented a truck and a trailer to scrap it out realizing it was more than I could handle I push it off the trailer from the trailer returned the truck my wife made it very clear it goes or I go but hours on the phone stumbled across this number by accident they came and it’s gone life here is wonderful!!!
