Empty the bed and cab
Take out tools, toolboxes, straps and anything stored behind the seats or in the bed. Once the truck leaves, items left inside go with it.
Have the paperwork ready
Washington State law requires one of these: the Title, an Affidavit in Lieu of Title, or a Junk Vehicle Affidavit. No title? See selling without a title.
Take the plates off

Who signs
Washington DOL says all legal and registered owners shown on the title must sign the release of interest. If the business owns the truck, someone who can sign for it should be there.
A loan on the truck
If a bank or lender is still listed as the legal owner, its release is needed too. Read selling a vehicle with a lien in Washington.

Washington State law requires paperwork before a vehicle can be disposed of. Here is what we need for a pickup in the Seattle area.
- One of these documents: the Title, an Affidavit in Lieu of Title, or a Junk Vehicle Affidavit.
- Lost the title? If the vehicle is registered in your name in Washington, call us at (206) 941-0612 and we will help you sort it out.
- After the sale: the Washington Department of Licensing asks sellers to file a Report of Sale within 5 days and to take their license plates off the vehicle.

Called this morning to have our old truck removed since it no longer ran. Got a call back really quick and even though we didn’t have the right paperwork they walked us through exactly what we needed and even sent picture examples. We were still able to get same day pick up and it was free of charge. Oscar, the tow truck driver was amazing and so kind. He was actually able to start up the truck enough to move it for the tow and never made us feel like the job was difficult. He was very knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. Would highly recommend their services.
Well what can I say. I have an old truck my uncle gave it to me. 35 years ago I used it a few times parked it. My neighbors hated it being a DYII guy. I rented a truck and a trailer to scrap it out realizing it was more than I could handle I push it off the trailer from the trailer returned the truck my wife made it very clear it goes or I go but hours on the phone stumbled across this number by accident they came and it’s gone life here is wonderful!!!
Easy peasy! Called and came same day. The person was spoke to was very friendly. They sent a pickup company. We got 2 old trucks picked up. One was difficult to get out as he had to go through the alley but he did it!! He didn’t speak English and couldn’t really understand but didn’t stop anything from getting the job done! Would recommend.
